Obituary

Brett Wayne Clifton, of Perkasie and formerly of Quakertown, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home.  He was 60.

He was the loving husband of Mindy Lu Ivie.

Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Beverly (Hamilton) Clifton Hayes, of Harleysville, PA, and the late Charles Albert Clifton.  He was a 1983 graduate of Quakertown Community High School where he was a member of the Baseball Team.

A proud U. S. Navy Veteran, he served as a "Seabee" with the Construction Battalion and was stationed in San Diego, CA, and Georgia throughout his enlistment from 1983 until being honorably discharged in 1991.

Brett was employed as a truck driver for CSC Asphalt, Telford, PA, for the past five years.  Previously, he worked for Pep Boys, Quakertown, and in management for the former Clemens Markets.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers Football fan, Brett enjoyed traveling to tropical places, the beach  and most recently to Florida and Hawaii.  He will be fondly remembered for his amazing sense of humor.

Surviving with his wife, Mindy Ivie, are three children from his previous marriage, Krystal Hengey, of Richlandtown, PA, Candis Clifton, of Coopersburg, PA, and Cameron Clifton, of Quakertown, PA; and two brothers, Charles David Clifton and his wife Jennifer Dowdy, of Danville, VA, and Mark  Scott Clifton and his wife Sue Clifton, of Zieglerville, PA.
