Bonnie L. Siwert, of Pennsburg and formerly of Quakertown, PA, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA. She was 74.
She was the loving wife of Arthur C. Siwert, Jr. The couple had celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on May 20, 2025.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Marlin E. and Shirley I. (Zeiders) Bowes. A 1969 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, she attained her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree from Grand View Hospital School of Nursing, Sellersville, PA.
She began her professional career as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Grand View Hospital before working for Dr. Alfred Vasta, Quakertown, PA, \for 25 years until retiring in 2004.
Mrs. Siwert was a former member of the former First Baptist Church of Perkasie, Perkasie, PA.
An avid reader, she loved music especially the Motown genre and enjoyed singing with her parents and sister in her younger years. A jogging enthusiast, she was particularly fond of trips to the shore and beach. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.
Surviving with her husband are two children. W. Mark Weigner, Jr. and his wife Karen F., of Quakertown, PA, and Heidi L. Long and her husband Michael, of Anchorage, AK; two stepchildren, Brian M. Siwert and his wife Erin, of Clifton, VA, and Holly Batori and her husband Christopher, of Pennsburg, PA; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald E. Bowes and his wife Debbie, of Palm City, FL, and Vernon A. Bowes and his wife Sally, of Bellefontaine, OH; and a sister, Linda J. Hunsberger and her husband Mark, of Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
