Betty I. Zaskoda, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at her home.  She was 84.

She was the loving wife of 62 years of the late Daniel Floyd Zaskoda until his passing on May 1, 2025.

Born in Susquehanna, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Etta (Slater) Hobbs. She was a 1958 graduate of Perry Central High School, Perry, NY.

Mrs. Zaskoda was employed as a bookkeeper for Felton Construction, Quakertown, PA, for 14 years until retiring in 2008.  Previously, she worked for many years for the Plumstead Christian School, Plumsteadville, PA, as bookkeeper and, earlier, as a bus driver.

She was a member of the Reformed Baptist Church of Franconia, Telford, PA, where she taught Sunday School and served on many committees.

An avid cook and gardener, Mrs. Zaskoda loved writing poetry.  Her greatest joy, however,  was her role as a grandmother.

She is survived by four children, Jeffrey Zaskoda and his wife Kathleen, of Quakertown, PA, Juliet Secor and her husband David, of Quakertown, Jeremy Zaskoda and his wife Alethia, of Souderton, PA, and Daniel J. Zaskoda and his wife Deborah, of Lansdale, PA; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Emily wife of Jayme Harr, Tyler, Noah, Karis, Keira, Levi, Sophea and Olivia; a brother, Frank Hobbs and his wife Robin, of Lanesboro, PA; and a sister Jean Halvorsen and her husband Eric, of Gilbertsville, PA.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Etta Schwartz, and a brother, Arthur Hobbs.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Services to be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Reformed Baptist Church of Franconia, 644 Allentown Road, Telford, PA 18969.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church at the above-listed address.
