Bartholomew P. "Bart" Presti, of Souderton, PA, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA.  He was 53.

Born in Bath, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Beverly (Nagle) Presti.  He was a 1989 graduate of Wayland Central School, Wayland, NY.

Self-taught in his trade, Bart was employed as a mechanic for the Landis Block Co., Souderton, PA, for two years.  Previously, he was self-employed working for Toth Brothers Clearing & Dredging, Inc, Sellersvlle, PA, for many years. Prior to that, Bart spent several years in Cape Vincent, NY, doing building and remodeling work on luxury homes and estates in the Alexandria Bay and Wellesley Island area.  Earlier, he worked for several years at Roy Gibson Farms, Springwater, NY.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, PA, the Souderton American Legion Post No. 234, Souderton, PA, the Telford VFW Post No. 5308, Telford, PA, as well as the Wayland American Legion Post No. 402, Wayland, NY.

An outdoors enthusiast, Bart was particularly fond of hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, ATV riding, and boating in New York.  An avid NASCAR Dale Earnhardt and San Francisco 49ers Football and anyone playing a Philadelphia team fan, he was a talented grill master and enjoyed smoking meats.  Catholic in faith, he will be remembered for lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Susan L. Alderfer-Mahon, of Souderton; three children, Brandon Joel Stone, of Dansville, NY, Taylor Nicole Presti and her fiance Jake Marchand, of Avon, NY, and Kyle David Presti, of Dansville, NY; a grandchild, Mia-Bella Marchand; two brothers, Anthony J. Presti and his wife Sheryl, of Sellersville, PA, and Steven Presti; and three nieces and nephews, Dale, Jamie and Jordon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Presti, and a sister, Veronica Katherine Orlando.

His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, PA.
