Barbara D. Roach, of Harleysville, PA, and formerly of Ocean City and Ocean View, NJ, and Doylestown, PA, passed away Saturday April 6, 2024, at her home.  She was 80.

She was the loving wife of Francis J. "Frank" Roach.  The couple had celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on January 27, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Helen G. (Campbell) Rickey.

Barbara worked as a property manager with the Ray Perkins Property Management Company at Harbour Cove Condominiums, Somers Point, NJ, for eight years until retiring.  Previously she was a property manager for the Newtown Grant Home Owners Association, Newtown, PA, for many years.

A former member of the Family of God Lutheran Church, Buckingham, PA, she was a member of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Marmora, NJ, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sea Isle City, NJ, while residing in New Jersey.

Barbara enjoyed collecting cardinals, crafting, playing Bingo and shopping on the QVC and HSN Networks.  Most of all, she loved spending time on the beach.

Surviving with her husband are two children, Karen J. Skillman, of Perkasie, PA, and Scott F. Roach and his wife Heather, of Linwood, NJ; six grandchildren, Justin Skillman and his wife Michelle, Kaitlyn King and her husband Justin, Kirsten Burden and her husband Rex, Jonathan Skillman and his wife Brittany, Nicole Roach, and Zachary Roach; two great-grandchildren, Lawrence Jeffrey "LJ" Burden and Julia Grace Skillman; a great-granddaughter due to be born in June 2024; a brother, John Rickey; and a sister, Gayle Leahy and her husband Edward of Yardley, PA.  She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeffrey Skillman, in 2021.

Her Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Family of God Lutheran Church, 4770 US Route 202, Buckingham, PA  18912.  The Family will greet extended family and friends following the service.
