Barbara Poust, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.  She was 86.

She was the loving wife of 50 years of the late William T. Poust, Jr., until his passing on March 21, 2016.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Bach) Mitchell.  She was a 1955 graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Philadelphia.

Mrs. Poust was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Penn Foundation, Sellersville, PA, for over 20 years until retiring in 2015.

She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.

An avid Philadelphia Phillies Baseball fan, Mrs. Poust loved gardening and solving word search puzzles.

She is survived by three children, Donna Heil and her husband Keith, William T. Poust III and his wife Tammy, and Mark Poust, all of Perkasie; a daughter-in-law, Katie Poust, of Sellersville, PA; five grandchildren, Shaun Poust and his partner Kyle Ross, Ryan Poust, Lindsey Poust, Joseph Poust and Meredith Poust; and a brother, Stanley Mitchell, of New Jersey.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Poust, a granddaughter, Lauren Poust, a brother, Walter Mitchell, and two sisters, Dorothy Pellicciotti and Maryjane Mitchell.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above-listed address.
