Barbara Ann "Barbie" Krout, of Trumbauersville, PA, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 19, 2025, at her home.  She was 55.

She was the loving wife of Craig F. Krout.  The couple had celebrated their 34th Wedding Anniversary on July 3, 2025.

Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Raymond "Rocky" and Betty-Lou (Overholt) Furness.  She was a 1988 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

Barbie was employed for a number of years as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Comfort Keepers, Quakertown, PA, until retiring in 2019 unable to continue due to back issues.  Following her retirement there, she worked for Walmart and Giant Food Stores.

Having earned a degree in cosmetology, Barbie loved experimenting with her hair color and make-up.  An avid doll collector, she particularly enjoyed social media, reading and seeking "a good sale".  She also delighted in cooking and preparing feasts. Barbie loved animals, especially cats and dogs; however, her greatest joy was in spending time with her family.  She lit up the room with her infectious laughter and compassion.  We will miss her warm hugs.

Surviving with her husband are four daughters, Cassandra Ann Krout, of Perkasie, PA, Candace Lynn Krout, of Malvern, PA, Christine Marie Krout, of Perkasie, and Cybil Laura Osborne and her husband Jared, of Celina, OH; and two sisters, Deborah S. VanArtsdalen and her husband Dennis W., of Sellersville, PA, and Constance L. Hockman and her husband J. Scott, of Quakertown, PA.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
