Barbara M. Clymer, 84, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA. She was the loving wife of James Clymer, in which they were married for 42 years.

            Born in Audobon, NJ, she was a daughter of the late August E. and May L. (Collins) Allchin.

            Barbara was a graduate of Triton High School.  After high school, she worked in different doctor’s offices as an LPN.

            In Barbara’s spare time, she enjoyed singing, crocheting, square dancing and visiting nursing home facilities.

            Along with her husband, James, she is survived by her children Candace Regec and her husband Charles of Quakertown, PA, William C. Marshall, Jr. of Hosensack, NJ, stepchildren Sandra J. Benner, James D. Clymer of Carlisle, PA, Wendy L. McBrien and her husband Robert of Quakertown, PA. Barbara is also survived by her brother Dr. Ronald A. Allchin, Sr. and his wife Sherry of Cookeville, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.

            A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the chapel at the Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Avenue, Harleysville, PA 19438.
