Barbara L. Bossard, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at St. Luke's University Hospital – Bethlehem Campus, Bethlehem, PA.  She was 68.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Shirley L. (Bittle) Bossard.  She was a 1975 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, and a graduate of the Lansdale School of Business, Lansdale, PA.

Barbara was employed as a store manager for Norman's Hallmark Shop & Gift Store, Quakertown, PA, for 10 years.  Previously, she worked for the North Penn Reporter, Lansdale, in the Classified Department for over 10 years.  Earlier, starting at the age of 16, she worked for the former Hess's Department Store until its closing in 1995.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

Barbara enjoyed collecting Hallmark ornaments, and she loved caring for her dog, Lucy.

She is survived by a brother, Timothy J. Bossard, of Perkasie; two sisters, Suzanne L. and Sandra J. Bossard, both of Perkasie; a niece, Elizabeth Ann Rothwell and her husband Casey, of Blue Bell, PA; a great-nephew due to be born April 21, 2025; her best friend, Lynn Hoffel, of Lewes, DE; and her dog, Lucy.

Her Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Pennridge Community Center, 146 E. Main Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  (Located at Routes 113 & 152 in Silverdale, PA)

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 30386, Philadelphia, PA  19103, or to the Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA  18951.
