Hollenbach
January 6, 1942 – May 16, 2024
Barbara Anne Hollenbach, of Fountainville and formerly of Perkasie, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, PA. She was 82.
She was the loving wife of 62 years of the late Russell LeRoy "Lee" Hollenbach, Sr., until his passing on August 11, 2021.
Born in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Frank and Irene Helen (Blackburn) Harden.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hollenbach was employed by Camp Jean's Doggie Day Care, Quakertown, PA, for 11 years until retiring in 2014. Previously, she worked for Goshow's Jewelry & Gifts, Souderton, PA, and, earlier, as an administrative assistant for Faith Baptist Church, Sellersville, PA, for a number of years.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Buckingham, PA, where she taught Children's Church for eight years. She was a former member of Faith Baptist Church, Sellersville, where she was often found in the Church Kitchen and taught Children's Church for 32 years.
A talented cook and gardener, Mrs. Hollenbach loved her pets, especially her dogs. While she enjoyed sewing and going to the beach, she will be most remembered for her love for her family.
She is survived by four children, Deborah Anne Isaacs and her husband Loren, of Coon Rapids, MN, Russell LeRoy Hollenbach, Jr., of Sellersville, PA, Terri L. Steward and her husband Daniel, of Fountainville, PA, and Laura H. Weaver and her husband Timothy, of Sellersville, PA; ten grandchildren, Joelle Peterson and her husband Nick, Cailin Forsythe and her husband Chase, Dexter Hollenbach and his wife Caitlin, Lucas Hollenbach and his wife Kirsten, Garrett Hollenbach and his wife Erin, Ben Steward and his wife Emily, Amy Jones and her husband Mike, Kelli Fort and her husband Nathan, Emily Delaney and her husband Jordan, and Peyton Weaver; and 21 great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild "due any day" and another great-grandchild due to be born in September.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Hollenbach, and a brother, Henry Frank Harden, Jr.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2622 Durham Road, Buckingham, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. Interment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 574, Buckingham, PA 18912.
