Barbara's greatest love in her life, besides her family, was working as a certified nursing assistant at the Lutheran Community at Telford. She worked as a full-time employee until she was 87, completing 34 years of dedicated service. She would go above and beyond to make sure the residents received only the best care, and her co-workers were truly her second family. These friendships remained steadfast until her passing. Barbara also worked for and retired from the Pennridge School District after serving as a cafeteria worker for many years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Candy Crush , shopping, putting together puzzles, but above all else she looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.
