In his younger years, he was a member and Past President of the former Pennridge Jaycees.
While residing in Pennsylvania or when visiting the couple's cottage in Perkasie Park, Arnie enjoyed sailing on Lake Nockamixon. He and Joan enjoyed golfing as well as traveling together to 44 of the 50 states and took over 33 cruises and trips to other countries.
Upon their retirement to Naples, Florida, Joan and Arnie very much enjoyed living in the community of Riviera Golf Estates. Arnie most recently resided at The Pineapple House at Sapphire Lakes in Naples.
