Obituary

            Anna Mae Transue, of West Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at her home. She was 94.

            She was the loving wife of the late Ronald W. Transue, Sr., until his passing on April 3, 1992.

            Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Morton and Mary Anna (Miller) Kerns. She was a 1950 graduate of Hatfield High School, Hatfield, PA.

            Mrs. Transue was employed in quality assurance for the Pittman Corporation in Sellersville and then Harleysville, PA, for over 30 years until retiring in 2000.

            She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville, PA, where she served as an usher and greeter and volunteered with the flower committee and bulletin charts.

            An avid reader, Mrs. Transue enjoyed playing Scrabble and doing puzzles and crossword puzzles. She was greatly appreciated by her friends and neighbors for preparing their tax returns every year. She especially loved attending the Hilltown carnivals, West Point Park and Green Lane Park with her family.

            She is survived by nine children, Anna M. Wrecsics, of Coopersburg, PA, Thomas Snider, Jr. and his wife Debra Ann, of Milford Twp., PA, Gloria J. Quintans and her husband Fred, of York, PA, Cynthia D. Transue, of Perkasie, PA, Donna L. Transue and her husband Darren, of Silverdale, PA, Karen I. Nace and her husband Kevin, of Sellersville, PA, Christopher Snider and his wife Anne, of West Rockhill Twp., PA, Lawrence Snider and his wife Lisa, of Sellersville, and Randy Snider and his wife Carol, of Sellersville; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Kerns and his wife Michelle, of Florida.

            In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Terry Snider, a grandson, Corbin Snider, two brothers, George and John Kerns, and two sisters, Mary Fretz and Sandra Amey.

            Services will be announced shortly.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 733 Ridge Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.

            Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
