Angel Garcia Jr., 73, of Sellersville, passed away on Sunday August 18, 2024, at Grandview Hospital Sellersville, PA.

He was the beloved husband of Sherry (Moore) Garcia, having celebrated their 29th anniversary in May.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Angel M. and Genara (Figueroa) Garcia Sr.

He was employed as a machinist for over 50 years for the former Ametek Corp of Sellersville and later for Stein Seal Company, Kulpsville. Upon his retirement Angel worked for NAPA as a parts delivery driver.

Mr. Garcia was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield.

In his free time, he enjoyed, his family, watching TV, listening to Latin jazz music, cooking, and eating. Angel was also a fan of the New York Football Giants.

In addition to his wife, Angel is survived by a daughter, Amy Garcia of Sellersville and a stepdaughter Jamie Wagner of Sellersville; four grandchildren, Katelyn, Meghan, Julia and Kaden; four brothers, Luis, of Quakertown, Fred and his wife Doreen, of Pennsburg, Frank and his wife Debbie of Stroudsburg, Rick of Hatfield and three sisters, Irma Morales and her husband Luis, of Telford, Belen Fraser and her husband Darren of Fl., Elizabeth Keller and her husband Barre, of Catasauqua.   Angel was preceded in death by a sister Abigail and a brother Nelson Garcia a nephew Angel Morales and a niece, Dominique Henry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass in the Church. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Almont, PA.
