Aneita M. Herd, formerly of Blooming Glen, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Laurels at Hidden Meadows On The Ridge, Sellersville, PA.  She was 91.

She was the wife of the late Ronald C. Herd, Sr., who passed away March 13, 2000.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ashton and Della (Leigh) Parkes.  She was a 1952 graduate of Olney High School, Philadelphia, PA.

Mrs. Herd was a part-time billing clerk and a homemaker.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley, PA.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and word searches.  She also loved her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald C. Herd, Jr. and his wife Michele, of Hilltown Twp., PA and Todd R. Herd and his wife Terri, of Pickerington, OH; nine grandchildren, RJ Herd and his wife Celia, Kyle Herd and his wife Catherine, Kelly Herd and her boyfriend Allen O'Hara, Melissa Herd and her husband Brendan Primodie, Derrick Herd and his wife Alexis, Taylor Herd, Evan Herd, Ashton Herd and Tyler Herd; eight great grandchildren, Noah, Trinity, Matthew, Emma, Hayes, Brodyn, Mason and Myles and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Herd, of Quakertown, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn A. Herd, a brother, Stanley Parkes, a sister, Annabell Selmer and a half sister, Theda Hickman.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held privately in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville, PA  18960.
