Obituary

Allen C. Mace, of Perkasie and formerly of Warminster, PA, passed away suddenly at a family function in Norristown one day short of his 90th birthday on Monday, May 29, 2023.

He was the loving husband of 65 years of the late Natalie C. (Zuber) Mace until her passing on November 22, 2022.

Born in Tamaqua, PA, he was the son of the late Clair Allen and Ruth Caroline (Oberman) Mace.  He was a 1951 graduate of Tamaqua High School.

Mr. Mace was a proud Korean War Veteran of the U. S. Navy serving on an aircraft carrier stationed in Europe.

He worked as a production supervisor for Deltron Electronics, North Wales, PA, for 40 years until retiring in 1999.

A staunch conservative Republican, he was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua.

Mr. Mace was talented in home construction, improvements and decorating.  He enjoyed music and solving cryptogram puzzles as well as cooking and baking, especially twice-baked potatoes and pies.  Most of all, he will be remembered for his love for his family, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and for the gatherings that they shared.

He is survived by his loving family that was everything to him, a daughter, Sally Ann Beck and her husband James, of Perkasie; three grandchildren, Meredith Buckwalter and her husband Zachary, of Chalfont, PA, Douglas Beck, of East Norriton, PA, and Matthew Beck and his wife Kaitlyn, of Malvern, PA; and two precious great-grandchildren, Jay and Emerie Buckwalter.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Leitzel, and a brother, John "Jack" Mace.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at his home at 722 Shadywood Drive, Perkasie, PA, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:30 AM.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in White Church Cemetery, Barnesville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your grandchild's college fund or to your local Republican Committee.

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA
