Allen H. Gulack, of East Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg, PA. He was 79.
He was the loving spouse of Shirley A. (Short) Barnes. The couple had been together since the year 2000.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Leo and Ruth (Morris) Gulack. He was a 1963 graduate of South Philadelphia High School, Philadelphia, PA.
He was a U.S. Naval Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving on the USS Keppler.
Allen worked in auto sales for County Line Auto until his retirement. He then drove cars for CarShop, Hatfield, PA. In his earlier years, he was a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger.
Jewish in faith, he attended St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, PA.
He was a member of the Quakertown Masonic Lodge, #512, Quakertown, PA. A car enthusiast, he loved hot rods and muscle cars. In his free time, he enjoyed target shooting, camping in Bar Harbor, Maine, hiking and going on their annual family vacation to Sea Isle City, NJ.
Surviving with his spouse are three children, Sandra Spiess, of Perkasie, PA, Shawn Barnes and his wife Tracey, of Perkasie and Shannon McCloskey and her husband Matt, of Gilbertsville, PA; five grandchildren, Genevieve, Taylor, Casey, Peyton and Matthew; three great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Harbor and Rowan; a brother, Mark Gulack, of Bristol, PA; a sister, Gail Burke and her husband Jeffrey, of Chalfont, PA; a sister-in-law, Susan Gulack, of Ventnor, NJ; a niece, Beth Zahal and her husband Effie and a nephew, Robert Gulack and his wife, Nicole.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Gulack and his step mother, Maria Gulack.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will held privately in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. A Masonic service will be held at 9:30 AM.

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home and Crematory, Perkasie, PA.
