Allan W. Ford, of Schwenksville and formerly of Telford, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at home.  He was 86.

He was the loving husband of the late Clare (Freeland) Ford until her passing on December 28, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Allan) Ford.

Mr. Ford was a proud U. S. Army Veteran who was stationed in Germany, serving from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1962.

He began his career as an offset printer with Worldco Co., Philadelphia and Easton, PA, where he was employed for many years.  Then, he worked in the same capacity for the Safeguard Co., Harleysville, PA, for a number of years until retiring in 2015.

In his free time, Mr. Ford loved watching sports especially the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

He is survived by four children, Donna Lavecchia and her husband Joseph, of Schwenksville, PA, Jacqui Walter and her husband Dean, of Phoenixville, PA, Mike Ford and his wife Christine, of Sellersville, PA, and Steve Ford and his companion Sherry Thatcher, of New Ringgold, PA; eight grandchildren, Rochelle, Matthew, Jackie, Courtney, Brandon, Christopher, Kristen and Brianna; and 14 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Dougherty; a sister, Joan Ford; a brother, George Ford; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Ford.

Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O.  Box 758517, Topeka, KS  66675.
