Alfred E. Crawford, Jr., of Hilltown Twp., PA, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at his home. He was 93.

            He was the loving husband of 69 years of the late Shirley Ann (Gehman) Crawford until her passing on January 14, 2023.

            Born in Chestnut Hill, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred E. Sr. and Deborah C. (Torricellas) Crawford. He was a 1951 graduate of Hilltown High School, Hilltown, PA.

            He proudly served with the Penna. Army National Guard 228th Division, Sellersville, PA, for six years.

            Mr. Crawford worked as a machinist for the former Karl Hieber Machine Shop, Plumsteadville, PA, for over eight years until retiring. Previously, he worked for the former FMC Link Belt Co., Colmar, PA, for 30 years, and, earlier, for the Standard Pressed Steel Co., Jenkintown, PA, for a number of years.

            A member of the Hilltown German Hungarian Sportsman Club, Hilltown, PA, he was a former member of both the Keelersville Club, Keelersville, PA, and the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, PA.

            An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Crawford especially enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowers. He was a talented handyman and enjoyed refurbishing homes and roofing over the years.

            He is survived by two sons, Kent Crawford and his wife Nielda, of Souderton, PA, and Jeffrey Crawford, of Hilltown, PA; three grandchildren, Nicole Crawford, Erin Dallatore and her husband Zachary, and Dalton Crawford; two great-grandchildren, Michael Shaffer and Atticus Dallatore; and a sister. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Crawford, a daughter-in-law, Donna Crawford, and a brother.

            Family and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Services to be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA.
