What to do when someone dies.
- We are available 24 hours a day, call either 215-257-2144 or 215-723-4636.
- If they die in a hospital or care facility give the facility the name of the funeral home.
- Confirm that they will contact us, some facilities do not.
- If they die at home without a physician present:
– if under Hospice Care, call hospice first
– if not under hospice care, call 911/police/ambulance
– call the funeral home
- If after hours, you will be answered by our answering service, they are trained to properly handle your needs. They will ask the following information:
– Decedents Name
– Place of Death
– Contact Name and Phone Number
- We will return your call usually within 5 - 10 minutes
