Obituary

Willard L. Streapy, of Perkasie and formerly of Haycock Twp., PA, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, PA.  He was 94.

He was the husband of Ruth (Godshall) Streapy.  The couple had celebrated their 67 th Wedding Anniversary on October 3, 2020.

Born in Bedminster, PA, he was the son of the late George and Annie (Keniesner) Streapy.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1948 to 1952 and was stationed in Korea.

A Master Carpenter, Mr. Streapy worked for True Blood Construction, Spring House, PA, for many years until retiring.

He was a member of Faith Church, Sellersville, PA.

Mr. Streapy had a passion for woodworking and working with his hands.  An outdoors enthusiast, he enjoyed fishing, birdwatching and wildlife especially deer.  An avid vegetable and flower gardener, he was dedicated to tending to his yard.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Mark Streapy and his wife Julie, of Palos Verdes, CA; and a granddaughter, Sara Streapy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Pauline Eichlin, Paul Streapy, Florence Long, Edgar Streapy and Samuel Streapy.

His Graveside Services with interment in Christ Reformed Cemetery at Indian Creek, Telford, PA, will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bucks County Free Library, Samuel Pierce Branch, 491 Arthur Avenue, Perkasie, PA  18944.
