Obituary

Rosemary T. Hollway, of Coopersburg, PA, and formerly of Quakertown and Chalfont, PA, and Galloway, NJ, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at her home.  She was 79.

She was the wife of the late Charles F. Hollway, III, who died January 3, 2014.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Hilferty) Duggan.  A graduate of St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls, Philadelphia, she attained her Associate's Degree from Manor Junior College, Philadelphia.

A homemaker, Rosemary was employed as an assembler for 15 years for the Honeywell Corp., Fort Washington, PA, until its closing.  Then, she worked as a hairdresser for J. C. Penney, North Wales, PA, until retiring in 2000.

She was a member of St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church, Quakertown, PA.

A member of the Woman's Club of Perkasie, Perkasie, PA, she volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother in her younger years.  Rosemary was very patriotic, and she, along with her husband, sent care packages to the troops stationed around the world.  An avid cook and baker, she loved to sing.  While residing in Galloway, she served on the Galloway Township School Board and sang in the choir at the Four Seasons Retirement Center in Galloway.

She is survived by four children, Gregory B. Hollway, of Coopersburg, PA, Andrew T. Hollway and his wife Christine, of Highland, NY, Susan B. Zischang and her companion Frank Salvatore, of Upper Black Eddy PA, and Kathleen H. Hastings and her husband Kevin, of Chalfont, PA; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, T. K. Duggan, of New York, NY; and a sister-in-law, Bernice "Bonnie" Barry, of Coopersburg.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 17, 2020, at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church, 2545 West Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held privately in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woman's Club of Perkasie, c/o Thyra Groff, 505 Nob Hill Drive, Perkasie, PA  18944.

Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
