Gloria M. Scheip, 89, of Souderton, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center Cedar Crest in Salisbury Twp. with her family at her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late George Scheip who died in 1988.

Born in Souderton, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Florence (Miller) Bova.

She was employed in the cafeteria of the Souderton Area School District for many years.  In her earlier years, she worked as an operator for the former Bell Telephone.

Mrs. Scheip was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Souderton.  She faithfully read the scriptures, deeply loved her family and friends, and enjoyed being a part of the Diamond Street Lunch Bunch.

She is survived by three sons:  Craig Scheip and his wife Deborah of Copley, OH, Rev. Michael Scheip and his wife Mary of Sarasota, FL, Steven Scheip and his wife Patricia of Souderton, seven grandchildren:  Patrick, Matthew, Joseph, Peter, Andrew, Thomas, Anthony, and was anticipating her first great grandson.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Summit View Auditorium of the Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit St., Souderton, PA 18964.  Interment will follow in Leidy's Cemetery in Franconia Twp.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Keystone Opportunity Center, P O Box 64183, Souderton, PA 18964.  Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
