Obituary

Michael Stanley Gurecki, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  He was 31.

Born in Langhorne, PA, and raised in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of Stanley M. and Diane L. (Sticher) Gurecki, of Sellersville.

He was a 2005 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, where he was a member of the Ice Hockey Team. He attained an Associate's Degree from West Chester University, West Chester, PA, as well as a degree from the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute, Orlando, FL.  He was currently a student at Temple University, Philadelphia, and the Community College of Philadelphia, working on his Engineering Degree.

Michael was employed as an electrician and project manager for Ample Electric, Pennsburg, PA.

He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.

An avid and active outdoorsman, he loved road and mountain biking, motorcycling, dirt biking, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, motocross and camping.  He also enjoyed traveling, cooking and playing guitar.

Surviving with his parents are a sister, Megan L. Jefferson and her husband James, of Ottsville, PA; a niece, Ella Jefferson; a nephew, Jack Jefferson; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Tyson.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2018, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, where family and friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Interment will be held privately in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
